The USPS has historically delivered mail Monday-Saturday. In order to cut cost an expected 2 billion throughout this next fiscal year, the USPS will stop all Saturday mail delivery. Expecting a package? No problem. Due to the rising trend in buying and selling online, package delivery has steadily increased since 2010. To appease customers the USPS will still deliver packages on Saturdays, allowing them to keep up with the competition of companies like FedEx and UPS.
